For those looking to elevate their wine experience with food pairings, Montaluce’s full restaurant, Le Vigne, offers an exquisite menu of gourmet dishes available for lunch, brunch, and dinner. Chef Christopher Matson is classically trained in French cuisine. He received, both, culinary and pastry degrees from the renowned the International Culinary Center (formerly known as the French Culinary Institute,) in Manhattan, NY. He blends his formal training with local ingredients to create a memorable, modern American farm-to-fork experience.
It was his grandmother that made him fall in love with food when he was fourteen, and he hasn’t stopped cooking since then. His passion for food has taken him all around the world and helped him make a life for himself as a first-generation American.
He and his team are excited to be able to cook for you and offer a menu made with classic techniques and fresh, locally sourced ingredients. “More than anything, I hope my years of experience and passion for food comes together at Montaluce in the form of an incredible meal you get to share with people you love,” says Matson.
His exceptional menu includes item like “The Southerner,” a deluxe brisket, short-rib, and chuck-blended burger, topped with local greens, heirloom tomato, house-made pimento cheese, Montaluce’s signature bacon, fried onions, and honey slaw, or try the decadent Rabbit Duet with a confit of rabbit leg partnered with a roasted rabbit loin served alongside rissole potatoes, baby carrots, pearl onions, Montaluce bacon, and drizzled with rabbit au jus. Save room for the unique and creative Key Lime Pie Creme Brulee as a perfect ending to an amazing meal.
