Stix ‘n Brix Wood Fired Pizza {220 West 33rd Street, Chicago; 312.265.0219}: These pizzas are wood-fired in the OG pizza way, complete with a brick oven and a chef with years of expertise. That’s where their name comes from after all! The perfect combination of stix in the wood-fire and brix in the oven, plus all around the decor of the restaurant, lead to simply delicious pies. Bar Cargo {605 North Wells Street, Chicago; 312.929.0065}: The pizza might technically be Roman-style but the vibe is all Chicago in Bar Cargo. And that includes a love of pizza that knows no time constraints! Sure, they serve pizza at dinnertime like you’d expect, but you can also get an array of their pizzas during their brunch buffet! Because pizza is just to good to only be served in the afternoon!

Labriola Chicago {535 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago; 312.955.3100}: Get a taste, and a peak, at Chicago’s pizza history with a visit to Labriola. The interior of the Italian eatery and pizza joint will hearken diners back to the old Italian haunts of years gone by, but this pizza stands the test of time. Plus, they are launching an exclusive White Deep Dish Pizza with chicken, caramelized onion, and bacon just in time for the holiday!

Roots Handmade Pizza {multiple locations}: If you’ve never tried Quad Cities style pizza, let this be the time. The round pizza has a sweeter thin crust, and the slices are cut in longer rectangles (as opposed to standard squares or triangles). Come for this unique style of pizza, but stay for the jumbo, handmade Mozzarella Sticks, made completely from scratch. They are insanely delicious!

Bonci {multiple locations}: If Anthony Bourdain stood by a pizza, you can bet it’s worth a try! Come in to one of their Chicago locations to see their expansive pizza options for yourself, or order a pie to be delivered right to your home. Some meals are best enjoyed on the couch, and Bonci gets that.
