Dine Out To End Childhood Hunger Day on November 24

Local restaurants helping children in need

On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, several local public-spirited restaurants will partner with Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters Colorado for Dine Out to End Childhood Hunger Day. Participating restaurants and breweries will contribute 10 to 20-percent of sales to Cooking Matters Colorado, helping families learn about and access healthy food where they live, learn, and play.

“Dine Out to End Childhood Hunger is an easy way to invest in your community through Cooking Matters Colorado,” says State Director Kelleen Zubick. “The enthusiasm of participating restaurants, which tripled this year, and generosity of customers dining out before the Thanksgiving holiday help make sure that every child in Colorado gets the food they need to learn and thrive.”
