Event Details

Sunday Bird– the San Francisco-based guerilla Korean fried chicken restaurant by Chef Deuki Hong – is popping up for the first time in Denver. Chef Hong touts Sunday Bird as a hidden Korean fried-chicken shack that is all about the bird, featuring a menu that uses all parts of the chicken.

The exclusive menu will be offered a la carte, featuring:

-Sunday Bird Popcorn Chicken with Kimchi Salt, Fried Rice Cakes and Spicy Gochujang sauce
-Kimchi Fried Rice with roasted kimchi and chicharron

RiNo Yacht Club will showcase its cocktail program with libations created by the bar’s beverage director, McLain Hedges, such as a refreshing and boozy, frozen Banana Daquiri inspired libation, served with straw in a Korean to-go container.

Additionally, Carbon Knife Co will be popping up with a curated selection of poultry knives like the Honesuki—a Japanese boning knife with a sharp, pointed tip used to butcher poultry—and Hong’s new Koreatown: A Cookbook—a book featuring nearly 100 recipes, essays, profiles and documentary-style photography concentrating on many of the lesser-known aspects of Korean food, drink and culture.
