Here’s a margarita recipe from Bar Man Shawn Williams of Sarto’s Social Italian Eatery:
In a mixing glass, combine 2 basil leaves, 1 ounce strawberry-rhubarb simple syrup*, 1 ounce fresh lime juice, and 1-1/2 ounces Casamigos Blanco tequila. Fill with ice and shake briefly to bruise basil. Strain into a margarita glass with a salted rim and float with C. Chiarli Enrico Cialdini Lambrusco.
*To make strawberry-rhubarb simple syrup: In a saucepan, combine 2 cups fresh strawberries, 2 cups fresh rhubarb, and 2 cups sugar. Let sit for 30 minutes, then add 2 cups water. Bring to a slight boil then remove from heat. Steep for 1 hour, then strain and chill.
