This St. Patrick’s Day, let’s leave the green beer and rowdy crowds downtown. Here are six spots to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style.

Start your morning right with Car Bomb Pancakes at Racine’s {650 Sherman Street, Denver; 303.595.0418}. Head to this Capitol Hill staple for this holiday treat, complete with two buttermilk pancakes with Jameson Irish Whiskey whipped butter, Bailey’s Irish Cream whipped cream, and Guinness maple syrup. Can’t make it for breakfast? Stop by for lunch to enjoy the classic Corned Beef and Cabbage and wash it all down with an Irish Highball crafted with Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, sweet and sour, ginger beer, and bitters on the rocks.

This Friday, kick-off the morning right with brunch at beast + bottle {719 East 17th Avenue, Denver; 303.623.3223}. From 11am-2pm, Chef Paul C. Reilly will serve up beast’s beloved brunch menu with favorites such as the Fig + Pig Flatbread and the Pork Shoulder Tostada, as well as a few surprise holiday favorites. Thanks to Beverage Director Jon Feuresanger, guests can sip on the Takin Care of Guinness cocktail, crafted with Redbreast 12 year, Plantation pineapple rum, Guinness, coconut milk, and black walnut. Can’t make it this Friday? Pop in all this weekend to dine on these specialty deals.

Find refuge from the crowds at Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill {1605 Wynkoop Street, Denver; 303.623.0316}. The restaurant is offering a slew of specialty menu items including Traditional Scotch Eggs, Irish Potato Cakes, and Corned Beef Mac & Cheese. Whet your whistle with seasonal cocktails including the Bushmills Irish Whiskey, crafted with angostura bitters, soda, sugar, orange, and cherry.

Skip the green beer and sip on quality craft brews at La Güera {1610 Little Raven Street, Denver; 720.904.0965}. This St. Patrick’s Day, stop by for their Crazy Mountain Tap Takeover and sample seasonal brews, receive a complimentary pint glass, and more!

Take a break from the festivities at The Nickel {1100 14th Street, Denver; 720.889.2128}. Find a seat at the barrel bar and sip on the Irish Mule, crafted with Jameson, Fever Tree ginger beer, fresh lime, and candied ginger for only $6.

For those of us who suffer from Celiac and related diseases, The Gluten Escape {7255 South Havana Street #110, Centennial; 303.694.9999} has just the dessert for you. Stop by to pick up their St. Patrick’s Day cupcake specials including Green Velvet, Irish Cream, and Funfetti.
