Study Hall Opens in the Hotel Teatro in Denver

A homey lounge for travelers and locals alike

Study Hall

It’s all fun and games at Study Hall

Study Hall {1100 14th Street, Denver; 720.889.2128} is the place to go for cozy ambience and a seriously generous happy hour (that’s 5-11pm, Sunday through Thursday and we could not be more pleased). It boasts beautiful dark woods, giant bookshelves, comfy leather chairs, and plenty of nostalgic board games to make you feel right at home. Not to mention a giant fireplace in the center to warm up on those chilly evenings.

It’s part of Hotel Teatro, but General Manager David Coonan explains its draw is wide and the space is regularly “utilized by guests and locals alike.” So come one, come all to this unique spot to settle in and get boozy.

Barrel-aged cocktails

All cocktails on the happy hour menu are pre-mixed and barrel-aged. That means rich, blended flavors, interesting mashups, and very little wait time (hip hip hooray!). Don’t miss the Barrel-Aged Boulevardier with Breckenridge bourbon, or the Pearfection with Mell’s vodka, pear and elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and prosecco.

Small plates

These filling bites are all worth trying. Especially the Tater Tots filled with charcuterie and the Boudin Tartine, with crispy patties and rich gravy. We’ll take two of each, please!

Need something to power you through a grueling game of Monopoly? Grab a cup of Joe from Study Hall’s coffee bar, which serves up small-batch coffee from Method Roasters.

Pro tip

You’re not confined to small plates here; you can order the full menu at The Nickel restaurant while enjoying the ultra-casual atmosphere of Study Hall. Stop by for a hearty brunch, check out their seasonally selected lunch menu, or munch on a build- your-own charcuterie board perfectly catered to you.
