Iron out those lederhosen, Oktoberfest celebrations are upon us. Denver has been celebrating all month long, tapping Oktoberfest worthy lagers and grilling up German brats around town. So saddle up your steins and get to exploring!

48th Annual Denver Oktoberfest

When: September 22-23 and September 29-30 starts at 11am.
Where: 2100 Larimer Street, Denver

Prepare yourself for two weekends full of brats, beer, and more at the 48th Annual Denver Oktoberfest. One of Denver’s longest running festivals, Denver Oktoberfest attracts over 350,000 people and has even snagged the title of “The Best Oktoberfest” by USA Today. Participate in stein hoisting competitions, keg bowling, or sit back and indulge in copious amounts of lagers. General admission is free, or you can reserve VIP tickets which includes access to all can eat and drink stations, an official Denver Oktoberfest Stein, and more. VIP tickets range from $100-175 and can be bought here.

Tunes from the Polkanauts, grilled brats, and lederhosen? We’re in! Celebrate all things German at Station 26. Pair your grilled brat from Smokestack 70 with the breweries own Oktoberfest lager.

Oktoberfest at Two Penguins Tap & Grill

American Craft Brew Radio and Bierstadt Lagerhaus are teaming up for an Oktoberfest celebration. For $30, guests will receive a commemorative stein, two beer tickets, and a snack ticket. Join in on stein-hosting competition and a costume contest. Buy your tickets here.

Big Wonderful 4th Annual Oktobergrass

When: September 30-October 1
Where: 4400 Fox Street, Denver

Shop, eat, and drink, all while enjoying the spirit of Oktoberfest at The Big Wonderful’s Oktobergrass. From 2-6pm on Saturday and Sunday, sample unlimited tastings from over 20 craft breweries, wineries, and distillers, plus specialty tappings from select brewers. OktoberFEAST at Rhein Haus

The ultimate Oktoberfest food competition is on. Join up with four of your favorite foodies and race against the clock at Rhein Haus’ 2nd annual OktoberFEAST. Each teammate will have to complete one dish and a 1/2 liter of Rhein Haus lager before coming together for an Underberg toast. The top three teams will win Rhein Haus swag, gift cards, and prizes from Underberg. Admission per team is $25; learn more about the OktoberFEAST here.

St. Dominic’s Oktoberfest

Where: St. Dominic’s Parish {2905 Federal Boulevard, Denver}

Join St. Dominic’s Parish for its 5th annual Oktoberfest celebration. This kid-friendly event features live music, a kid’s corner, and a silent auction with multiple craft beer and food vendors on site. Admission is free or you can opt for VIP pre-sale tickets to receive a pour of last year’s signature beer plus a 2017 Oktoberfest beer glass from Joyride Brewing Company. Buy your tickets here. 

Boulder Art and Oktoberfest


When: October 13-15
Where: 29th Street Shopping Center

For a weekend full of festivities, check out Boulder Oktoberfest. Kick off Friday night with pours from the Barrel Biergarten and shake it off with polka tunes. On Saturday and Sunday tour around the arts and craft show, featuring works from over 75 artisans. Kiddos are welcome to join as the festivities will include five bouncy castles and more. Admission is free.
