Poké Bowl

 serves two


Poké sauce:
1/2 c soy sauce
1/4 brown sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger
1/2 tsp chopped garlic

1 c cooked white rice
1/2 lb yellowfin tuna, cut
into 1/2 -inch cubes
1/2 c poké sauce
2 T finely chopped red onion
2T finely chopped cilantro
1/4 finely chopped jalapeño,
or more, to taste
pinch sesame seeds
shredded carrots
sliced avocado
sliced cucumber
pickled ginger
sliced green onion
wakame seaweed salad


For the poké sauce: Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until well combined. Set aside.

For the poké bowl: Place rice in a serving bowl. Toss tuna, poké sauce, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño and place on rice. Place remaining ingredients as toppings around poké. Sprinkle with additional sesame seeds. Top with more poké sauce.
