Aurora Opens Applications For Grants Up To $30,000

The City is accepting applications through Thursday, November 12.

The City of Aurora begins accepting applications for its Aurora Economic Resiliency (AER) Grant on Thursday, November 5. The application window will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 12.

Eligible businesses may receive a grant—which does not need to be repaid—of up to $30,000 to cover payroll and rent this winter. To apply, your restaurant or bar must have under 200 employees and an Aurora business license in good standing. You’ll also need to document year-over-year losses due to COVID and your rent arrears (if you are requesting rent assistance).

Funding is available to both new and previous applicants, including businesses that have already received grant money. New applicants should apply at; previously eligible applicants will automatically receive an email on November 5 that contains a link to an abbreviated application (check those spam filters!)
