Annual Pitch Slam in Boulder

BY DiningOut Staff

Naturally Boulder, a non-profit organization focused on “nurturing and enhancing the natural and organic products industry”, is holding its Annual Pitch Slam on February 23rd. The Shark Tank-like event has five competing entrepreneurs delivering a three-minute pitch to a panel of five judges who will vote on which company will claim the title and prize pack. The ticketed event also includes an Innovation Showcase portion that allows their current member brands to exhibit and sample their latest and hottest products. Follow us on a tour of what the five young companies vying for the win this year are saying.

Hooch Booch

“Hooch Booch combines the mystique of classic cocktail flavors with the probiotic benefits of hard kombucha to create a beverage that is both refined and refreshing. You can expect a robust and flavorful booch that packs a punch of 8.5% ABV.”

They also have two non-alcoholic options with their Corpse Reviver cocktail line. “This botanical yet palatable elixir utilizes the power of electrolytes combined with Rocky Mountain Spring Water to raise your spirits without any spirits at all.”

Peak State Coffee

“Coffee First, Without Compromise – Yes, ACTUAL coffee. Don’t sacrifice great taste thanks to the world’s first whole-bean coffee with wellness benefits from adaptogens. Enjoy a fresh, quality cup, all thanks to our patentable infusion process.

Brain Function, Immunity Support, & Stress-Balance – Power up with beneficial adaptogens for wellness infused into an uncompromisingly delicious brew. 500mg of lion’s mane, cordyceps, chaga, and more, always a full spectrum, of US-grown mushrooms, extracted and infused seamlessly in your favorite morning bean routine.

Low Acid, Smooth, & Delicious – Sustainably shade-grown coffee means you can love a coffee that loves you and the planet back. Enjoy less acidity on your stomach, more focus, and boosted health, all while supporting environmental regeneration.”

Terraseed Multivitamins

“The complete multivitamin designed to resolve nutritional gaps in your vegan or plant-based diet. Conveniently delivered to your door monthly, this mighty pill contributes to make you feel more energized, builds your immunity, and supporting bone and brain functions.

Our formula is designed specifically for vegans and provides 9 power nutrients that are sourced ethically and sustainably. For instance, we use algae-harvested Omega-3 unlike conventional companies who use fish, and we source our Vitamin D3 from Lichen versus sheep’s wool.

Every item and practice used in the making, packing, and shipping of our vegan multivitamins is 100% plastic-free, and 100% biodegradable.”

Hazlo Elixir

“Hazlo is the first craft beverage designed to perfectly complement every part of your life. Packed with electrolytes, antioxidants, adaptogens, and gorgeous flavors. It’s the perfect beverage to enhance your morning routine or your favorite nightcap cocktail.

Our proprietary formula was created by James Beard Award Winning mixologists to feature the highest quality ingredients to perfectly complement your healthy lifestyle.”

Qi Alchemy

“Rooted in ancient Korean herbalism, Qi Alchemy is dedicated to bringing the most effective and highest quality herbal blends to the modern world. We are committed to sourcing the highest quality ingredients— our herbs are 100% organic and sustainably harvested from Chungcheong Province in South Korea. Our bodies know exactly how to create this Qi balance when it has the right amount of nutritional support available. Our bodies were designed to obtain the nutrients we need from the food we eat, but unfortunately, most of us don’t consume the right amount of nutrients from our food to reduce our stress levels and inflammation.

Qi Alchemy contains pure premium ginseng harvested for six years, organic, gluten-free, and contains no preservatives, chemicals, or artificial ingredients.”
