Shaken or stirred, dry or dirty: however you like it, you’ll love it by the time you’re ready to leave this decadent three-martini lunch at Local Jones. What’s served along with the martinis, you ask? That’s up to you, but we recommend the buttermilk fried chicken for a little high-low action. Served with bread and butter pickles and cornbread, fries or slaw, and a host of sauces like hatch chile hot sauce, pickle sweet and sour, and sweet and spicy pomegranate molasses. Can’t justify a three-martini lunch today? Good news for you: it’s available every weekday, too.

Thurs., Oct. 5: An Italian Vendemmia Wine Harvest Celebration @ The Bindery

He worked several years in restaurants and hotels before deciding to switch fully to the wine world and join the family business. Join Lorenzo to celebrate the beauty and tradition of the Italian wine harvest at this special dinner at The Bindery, which kicks off at 5 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m. Reserve your spot via Tock; a $25 deposit per person is required.

Sun., Oct. 8: Denver Women’s Clothing Swap @ Left Hand Brewing Co.
Location: Left Hand Brewing RiNo – 4180 Wynkoop St. Denver
Better known in some (ok, my) circles as a bitch & switch, clothing swaps are the perfect way to clear out your closet of those garbs you don’t want to just give away because you love them too much to not see them go to a good home. Instead, you bring them to a fun hang session with other women who also bring their free-to-a-good-home threads and voila! You trade and everyone wins. At Left Hand Brewery, Denver Sociale Club presents the Denver Women’s Sociale Mixer, where you can meet, mingle, and make new connections with amazing women from your community as well as an (optional) clothing swap. The amazing raffles for prize packages that include pampering spa packages and stylish accessories are just a bonus—and an added incentive to clean out your closet. Tis the season!
