Going out with a group is not without its challenges. Balancing different dietary preferences, age groups, and the need for ample space can quickly turn choosing a restaurant into a headache. Whether your crew is craving pizza, sports, gaming, barbecue, steak—or all of the above—these places deliver with minimal friction, reservations or not.

Dine out in a group at these top Dallas restaurants.

This big and bold restaurant with a huge rooftop patio is made for group dining. Add live music, lots of big screen TVs, and a diverse menu, and it’s a recipe for satisfaction. The Dallas location has seven private dining spaces, so making a reservation is a good idea. During happy hour, Culinary Dropout has plenty of zero-proof options as well as beer, wine, cocktails, frozen drinks, and more. Those who know grab a burger, some appetizers to share or a chicken katsu sandwich. Detroit-style pizza is also a solid call. 150 Turtle Creek Blvd. #101, Dallas, culinarydropout.com/locations/culinary-dropout-dallas

Dessert is not to be missed—share a panqueque or two with your group. 1807 Ross Ave., Dallas, corrientes348.com

Terry Black’s BBQ

With several private rooms, long communal tables, and rooftop space in spades, this Texas barbecue joint is a great place to share among friends, family and coworkers. Have one person wait in line and get enough of everything to share. Don’t dare leave without trying the chopped brisket, mac and cheese, creamed corn, and beef ribs. A full bar, BBQ merch, and a parking lot (unheard of in Deep Ellum) are added bonuses. 3025 Main St., Dallas, terryblacksbbq.com

The vibes at Delucca are moody and dressed up, and the all-you-can-eat Brazilian-style prix fixe makes dining with a group seamless. Sample every pizza they make, in smallish slivers until you say “uncle.” Drinks, both boozy and non, are a treat. Every guest starts with a small lobster bisque, meatballs, and arugula salad. The location in the Design District has a private room perfect for groups. 1628 Oak Lawn Ave. Ste. 100, Dallas, delucca.com
