Pride month 2024 is here. So, rock it in style with delicious food and drinks at some of the best spots in town. From vibrant brunches and themed cocktails to special events and markets, these venues aim to honor the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you’re looking to join a lively parade, enjoy a drag show, or simply savor some rainbow-inspired treats, there’s something fun for everyone.

Rainbow Pastries

For an out-of-this-world treat, visit Black Box Bakery, a sponsor of the Edgewater Pride Parade. Owners Arielle Israel, Ty Webb and Megan Read have released rainbow-themed croissants, filled ($7) or unfilled ($6.50). F(L)AG Day Drag Show

A year-round house of drag, Honor Farm will be hosting their F(L)AG Day Drag Show on Friday, June 14 starting at 9:00 p.m. Hosted by Jill Literate, dive into a special cocktail menu featuring four special drinks with appropriate names. For example, the vodka-forward Genderfluids. Or, a tequila and mezcal combo used to make the Bearded Pony. Big Pride Energy

Call to Arms Brewing is known for its over-the-top and simply wonderful themed decorations, and this month it’s no different. Dubbed Big Pride Energy, rainbow flags and special events abound. Kicking it off is World’s Tiniest Pride Parade on Saturday, June 15 at 4:00 p.m. During the event, businesses along Tennyson Street in Berkeley host a miniature rainbow extravaganza. Led by the Guerrilla Fanfare Brass Band, the neighborhood parade starts at Natural Grocers and continues to Call To Arms Brewery, which is fully decked out in pride decor. Pride at Ace Eat Serve

Ace Eat Serve has your Saturdays covered with a month full of exciting events of activities on the patio. Many events help supportThe Center on Colfax’s Rainbow Alley Program, which offers a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth, ages 10 to 17, and their allies kind find support and acceptance. Make sure to attend the Pride Flash Tattoo event on June 15. Or, take a dip during the Pride Pool Party Weekend and chef grill-out on June 22 and 23. Finally, test your knowledge at Drag Trivia Night on June 26.

Rainbow Marketplace

Dairy Block is turning June into a full block party, featuring specials from various vendors and several exciting events. Festivities kick off on June 16 with youth-friendly Drag Queen Bingo from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

On June 22, enjoy a Drag Queen Show in the alley from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All month long indulge in a Pride Cotton Candy and Macaron Flight ($30) from Blanchard Family Wines, a Glitter-ita from Kachina, or a P.S. A Special Drag Brunch 

If you are looking to go all out for pride weekend, the Drag Brunch showcasing in FIRE at The Art Hotel provides entertainment, good food, and plenty of drinks for everyone involved. Choose from two dates, June 22 or 23; two times, 10 a.m. or 1 pm; and two ticket packages that work best for you. Tickets run $100 per seat, or book a private cabana for up to six people for $300. If you want to stay at the hotel, reserve the Denver Pride Package. Proceeds will be donated to OneColorado supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a pride bonbon box from Temper Chocolates, featuring flavors including: Born This Way, a Fruity Pebble infused ganache with a Valrhona milk chocolate shell; Girls, Girls, Boys, a mixed berry and cinnamon white chocolate ganache with a Valrhona milk chocolate shell; and Dance Fever, with mango Tajin fondant and a Valrhona dark chocolate shell. The Sheraton Hotel Downtown, the official hotel sponsor of the 2024 PrideFest, is hosting three exciting events for you to enjoy. Celebrate love and enjoy a special, all-day happy hour in honor of pride month from 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 at Infinite Monkey Theorem.
