Being crowned a winner at Top Taco is no easy feat. In 2022, there were 76 taco entries across four competitions and 37 cocktail entries, all vying to be winners in their respective categories. Competing dishes and/or drinks had to survive two rounds of voting from fellow Denver food & beverage professionals for Judge’s Choice and gain the most votes from Top Taco attendees for People’s Choice.
Beyond being taco and cocktail voters, ticket holders enjoy dancing to bands playing on different stages, watching lucha libre wrestlers spar, and participating in fun and interactive activities. 2023’s VIP experience will be hosting the inaugural Mar y Tierra Taco Challenge, with eight restaurants creating surf and turf fare. Top Taco is a one-of-a-kind, fully sensory fiesta that is not to be missed. We invite you to join us for the eighth year, the first time, or anywhere between. The ticket launch is TODAY, TACO Tuesday, April 18. To hop on the early bird ticket prices, visit toptacofest.com to grab yours for you and your fellow taco and tequila lovers.
Coming in as reigning top tacos and cocktail, restaurants can feel the pressure of returning to defend their position. The following winners did not shy away from the challenge and will be competing in hopes of once again holding the title. Come sample award-winning tacos and cocktails in one night, vote for your favorite, and visit the competing restaurants throughout the year.
