RiNo Goes To the Fishes

Fin n Tonic swam up to the dining scene last week, bringing a raw bar and plenty of wine in tow. Owned by Sophia Vidal, former director of operations at TAG Restaurant Group. In fact, it was through the group and the next door Los Chingones that she found and secured the small space. Street Tacos Now at Stanley Marketplace

Molino Chido has officially opened in the old Comida spot. In fact, chefs and owners Tommy Lee (Hop Alley, Uncle Ramen) and Michael Diaz de Leon (formally at BRUTO) had such a busy first week, they had to close last Sunday to recuperate. Now the Stanley Marketplace restaurant is in full swing, open Tuesday through Sunday.

Marczyk Fine Foods Comes to Denver Milk Market

Denver Milk Market has been adding a lot of new stalls lately, and now it welcomes Marczyk Fine Foods. The opening is planned for early 2026, and will occupy a 450-square-foot space among the other tenants. Expect a mix of Marczyk to-go foods and grocery items. Think soups, salads, sweets, and other sundry items. Third Times the Charm
Everything good you’ve heard about Hong Kong Station is true, it really is that good. Now the independent restaurant has opened its third location, this time on East Colfax Avenue. Dubbed Hong Kong Station 3, it took over the former Chuey Fu’s Latin-Asian Grub, which was a Noodles & Company before that.
New Bakery in Breckenridge

While a new bakery holds plenty of promise, when it’s opened by a James Beard award-winning chef, there’s even more excitement. That’s right, Matt Vawter, owner of Rootstalk and Radicato in Breckenridge, just announced the launch of Threefold Bakery, set to launch this December.
Vawter partnered with California chefs Sean and Melissa McGaughey of Healdsburg, CA, to bring sourdough, pastries, and sandwiches to Summit County. Dim Sum Switcheroo
Super Star is no more, but in its place is now Harbor Dim Sum & Cuisine. However, just because the name and owner changed, expect many of the same staff to remain. Last Weekend For Breadworks Bakery & Cafe
The final day to get goods from Boulder’s beloved Breadworks Bakery & Cafe will be this weekend on Saturday, November 22. Founder Larry Domnitz posted a sign at the 30-year-old bakery stating it was sad and that he was thankful for the years serving the area.
Bubba Gump Swims Away
For decades Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. has graced Downtown Denver, and now the outpost at 1437 California St. has closed. That means the one and only Colorado location of the Forrest Gump-themed eatery is gone. No solid reason was given for the closure.
The Sizzle Has Subsided
After almost nine years at 100 W. Evans Ave. in Denver, Szechuan Tasty House has closed. The unassuming spot served tongue-numbing Szechuan dishes in a no-frills setting.
Blind Tiger Goes Into the Night
The tucked away bar in RiNo was known for its hard kombucha and tasty cocktails, but now it’s permanently closed. The shuttering comes on the heels of owner (Anna Zesbaugh quitting her hard kombucha company, Hooch Booch. She decided to put all the focus into her other beverage, Corpse Reviver, a very tasty sparkling water spiked with electrolytes.
