Turns out, Phoenix is a great city for those who want to sip on a cocktail, minus the booze. These 11 bars and restaurants around town pour up a great mocktail list, from tea-infused concoctions to zero-proof tiki drinks to booze-free champagne.
Century Grand

Located in north Phoenix, Century Grand comprises three different bars: Platform 18, Grey Hen Rx, and UnderTow. While all reside under the same roof, each offers completely different vibes. Take Platform 18, a glamorous, 1920s-style bar modeled after a train simulates traveling through the countryside thanks to animated windows. Grab the Bar Car Menu and find a healthy list of mocktails heavy on tropical fruit and spice.
The second concept, Grey Hen Rx, also takes guests to the 1920s, but this time through New York City’s Chinatown. Pick up the newspaper-cum-menu and find zero-proof drinks like the Mark My Words, a “rum” and plum tea concoction; or the yuzu-forward and “gin” based Prayer at Mid-day. There’s even N/A bubbles so you can indulge in the classic caviar and Champagne course.
Finally, UnderTow, a subterranean bar with a tiki-esque theme. Expect plenty of island-inspired mocktails and the opportunity to have an escape without the buzz. Reservations are highly recommended for all three spots. 3626 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, bartershake.com
Hula’s Modern Tiki

Tiki bars may be the most iconic kind of bar around, but rarely does one cater to the sober crowd. Luckily, Hula’s Modern Tiki does. All three locations throughout greater Phoenix quickly transport you to an island paradise, without the need for rum or tequila. You can’t go wrong with the ever-classic Captain’s Colada, and the Castaway Cooler’s fruity ginger beer vibes are exceptionally refreshing. Each comes in a whimsical tiki glass, so you can have your fun without the booze. Multiple locations, hulasmoderntiki.com
Bitter & Twisted

At Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour, sober guests’ choices aren’t relegated to the back page of the menu. Rather, this Phoenix bar has developed mocktail versions of a dozen or so of its cocktail menu staples. And while simply swapping out the spirits doesn’t always work, the zero-proof versions here more than stand up against the alcoholic counterparts. 1 W. Jefferson St., Phoenix, bitterandtwistedaz.com
36 Below

Sharing a parking lot with Century Grand, 36 Below is home to even more cocktail masterpieces. Hidden inside Sip Coffee & Beer, guests travel down a set of stairs and into a cozy speakeasy decked out in greenhouse-inspired decor. Whether you want booze or not, each elaborate beverage offers plenty of flavor. Sip the oolong-and-peach-based Earth mocktail out of a whimsical Japanese lucky cat mug. Or, tap into childhood memories with the watermelon gummy-topped, zero-proof, Foam on the Rim. 3620 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, 36belowaz.com
BlackSheep Wine Bar & Merchant

While most of the valley’s best mocktail spots are clustered in Phoenix, BlackSheep Wine Bar & Merchant is an East Valley highlight. Located in Downtown Chandler, the wonderfully charming establishment has a dedicated mocktail menu that keeps sober and zebra-striping guests at the forefront.
The Citrusy Glow is perfectly zingy with Seedlip Citrus and fresh lemon, while the Spice Girl offers imbibers a profile of tart berries and Seedlip Spice. Either just might transport your mind to the last poolside adventure, at least for a moment. Munch on plates of bruschettas, salads, and more for a full-fledged night out. 98 S. San Marcos Pl., Chandler, blacksheep.wine
Drink Me! Tea Room

Indulging in high tea is just as exciting as a night at the bar, and you certainly get more things to try. At Drink Me! Tea Room, not only does the towering tea service include plant-based and gluten-free sweets, sandwiches, and small bites, but the cocktail, mocktail, and tea options also impress. Best part, it’s geared toward adults, so you can have a flavorful, and booze-free afternoon without kids over an island-inspired mocktail like the Two Days Slow or Jack of Hearts.
Keep in mind, Drink Me! Tea Room is only open three days a week and closes at 5 p.m., making it less of a late-night haunt and more of an afternoon tea vibe. If you are looking to make it an evening date, they do offer the occasional special event after sunset. 1730 E. Warner Rd. #5, Tempe, drinkmetearoom.com
Little Rituals

The Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Downtown isn’t necessarily the first place you’d think to grab a mocktail, but the 4th floor bar Little Rituals shouldn’t be missed. Many of the drink components, including syrups, infusions, and foams, are made in-house. In 2024 and 2025 the bar was a semifinalist of the James Beard Awards for Outstanding Bar Program. While there, snag an N/A White Grapefruit + Koji Paloma, or the blackberry-lemon Big City Nights, and get a taste of what makes the drinks program so great. 132 S. Central Ave. 4th floor, Phoenix, littleritualsbar.com
The Rose Garden

The Rose Garden knows how to do a theme. From the rose at every table to the floral wallpaper, it’s flower-focused decor at its finest. Of course, the botanical notes find a way into each glass as well. Using Seedlip’s Garden and Grove spirits as a base, the mocktails lean on butterfly pea flowers, lavender, and fresh herbs to create drinks that are just as lovely as the setting. 101 N. 1st Ave., Phoenix, therosegardenaz.com
Maple and Ash

First and foremost, Maple and Ash is unquestionably a steakhouse. But if you’d like a mocktail with your ribeye, you couldn’t ask for a better spot. The extensive cocktail menu has a dedicated section for sober guests, cheekily called No F@cking Alcohol Please. Try Like a Virgin, a zesty Margarita-like beverage with a touch of spice. The Lavender & Luxury, complete with Cleanco Gin, lychee, lavender, honey, and foam, gives guests a softer N/A drink, perfect before a meal or even for dessert. 7135 E. Camelback Rd. #130, Scottsdale, mapleandash.com
