DiningOut brings its RARE Steak championship to Atlanta.

Some cities comfort you. Others surprise you. Atlanta does both.

As we’ve expanded across the country, telling the stories of America’s most exciting food cities, we couldn’t be more proud to announce the launch of DiningOut Atlanta. This isn’t just another market for us — it’s a return to a city that embodies everything we believe about dining out: bold flavors, big personalities, and a food culture that’s constantly evolving.

Atlanta’s culinary scene is built on layers. There’s deep-rooted Southern tradition that continues to anchor the city, alongside a wave of ambitious, globally influenced cooking that feels entirely of the moment. You feel it in the neighborhoods, each with its own rhythm, attitude, and appetite.

From the Westside, where creativity and reinvention have transformed former industrial spaces into cultural dining hubs, to the buzzing patios and experimental menus along the BeltLine — where the line between restaurant, bar, and gathering place is beautifully blurred — color and vibrancy abound.

Intown neighborhoods thrive on walkability and intimacy, where chef-driven excellence and beloved neighborhood spots coexist, fueling a sense of community that’s hard to replicate. Meanwhile, the city’s international corridors tell some of the country’s most compelling food stories. Stretching across diverse neighborhoods, these areas showcase flavors from around the world and reflect Atlanta’s identity as a global city.

Atlanta is home to some of the most exciting dining experiences anywhere — often existing quietly, confidently, and without pretense.

That dynamic mix is exactly why we chose Atlanta as a cornerstone of DiningOut’s national expansion. The city doesn’t chase trends — it absorbs them, adapts them, and turns them into something uniquely its own. Dining here feels personal. It feels expressive. And it feels ready for a platform that celebrates it at scale.

We’re marking our arrival the only way that feels right: with a big, bold celebration. Join us on Thursday, April 9 at Pullman Yards for the RARE Steak Championship, a high-energy event bringing together top culinary talent for a night that’s equal parts competition, spectacle, and party. It’s the perfect introduction to DiningOut Atlanta — communal, flavorful, and unapologetically fun. (Learn more and grab tickets at atlanta.raresteakfest.com.)

RARE is just the beginning.

DiningOut Atlanta will be your daily destination for discovering what’s happening across the city — from neighborhood guides and trend spotlights to chef stories, cultural conversations, and insider recommendations. We’ll be publishing new stories, guides, and features almost every day, capturing the people, places, and moments defining Atlanta’s dining scene right now.

And we hope you’ll be part of it.

We’re actively looking for editorial and social media contributors who live and breathe Atlanta dining. If you have a perspective, a passion for food culture, or a story to tell, we want to hear from you. And if you’re a reader, we invite you to sign up for our newsletter — the best way to stay connected to our latest content, event announcements, and insider finds. Follow us on social for access to exclusive content, the most up-to-date Atlanta dining updates, and exciting event opportunities.

Atlanta, we’re proud to be back.

Pull up a chair — the table just got bigger.
