Pride Month is a powerful showcasing of visibility, community, joy, and perseverance. Throughout June, Dallas-Fort Worth shows up loud and proud in allyship with festivals, drag performances, dance nights and fundraisers that spotlight the LGBTQIA+ community. 

From district takeovers and neighborhood parties to a competition requiring mics and mixers and house music icons, here are the best ways to celebrate Pride Month across Dallas-Fort Worth.  

Country Fried Pride

Boot, scoot, and boogie, but make it gay. La Reunion is kicking off Pride Month with Country Fried Pride on Friday, June 5. Put on your finest boots and tip your hat to a night under the neon moon benefitting North Texas Risk Redux, a queer-led Texas harm reduction organization. DJ Kirbbae will spin an all-country vinyl set from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Go Easy will be on-site with treats and trinkets. Midnight Cluck will serve up fried chicken, and Blnnk will offer flash tattoos by Blnnk throughout the evening. Dallas Pride Festival and Sunset Parade

Following the removal of the Oak Lawn rainbow crosswalks, Dallas Pride 2026 is proving that perseverance is stronger than a power washer. This year’s theme, “Rainbows Don’t Wash Away,” sets the tone for a day of community and celebration on Saturday, June 6 in Downtown. The ticketed Festival of Rainbows runs from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. across four parks and features speed dating, community organizations, live performances, a food truck village, merchandise, and a Teen Pride and Family Pride Zone. The free Sunset Parade kicks off at 7 p.m. at Field Street and travels down Main Street to Harwood Street. dallaspride.org

When the Dallas Pride Sunset Parade ends on Saturday, June 6, the party continues at Shyboy Hi-Fi. Dallas’ newest hi-fi lounge is hosting its first Pride event with its biggest booking to date: Chicago house music pioneer Derrick Carter. DJs Mark Farina and Zack Witness also take the decks inside the intimate, futuristic listening room. Loud & Proud: A Cocktail and Karaoke Competition

Cocktail competition organizer the Shake Up is teaming up with LadyLove Lounge & Sound for a high-energy cocktail and karaoke competition benefiting Equality Action Texas. Multitaskers, this one is for you. On Monday, June 8 at 8 p.m., contestants will be challenged to mix a classic cocktail whilst simultaneously belting out a tune, mic in hand. Pride in Bloom

On Saturday, June 13, the Dallas Arboretum transforms into a colorful celebration of community, visibility, and joy. Pride in Bloom is a two-experience event that unfolds in the city’s most lush garden. Daytime Pride runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features a vendor market, performances by the Oak Lawn Band and pianist Sydney Barber, and a lineup of artisans including Stitchworks Coffee, El Carriel Colombian Coffee Co., Teenie’s Cake Creations, Liv’s Mojo Bakery and Co., Four Girls and a Guy Baking Company, and more. Orgullo Oak Cliff

TX Latino Pride and CocoAndré Chocolatier will present Orgullo Oak Cliff on Saturday, June 13, a neighborhood Pride celebration honoring the intersection of Latino and LGBTQIA+ communities. Held at Olmo Market from 6 to 10 p.m, the event will feature vendors, music, and performances. This year’s gathering is dedicated to the Oak Cliff community in the wake of a recent fatal apartment fire and aims to celebrate the resilience and strength of one of Dallas’ most diverse neighborhoods. 2111 S. Pride Block Party

The Dallas Arts District is uplifting Pride with a collaborative, arts-filled block party on Friday, June 19. The Dallas Arts District, Crow Museum of Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art, and Nasher Sculpture Center will spotlight the queer community through performances and interactive programming from 6 to 11 p.m. The lineup includes some of DFW’s most prominent queer figures including Cassie Nova, Bleach, and Round-Up Saloon’s house dancers. At Late Night at the DMA, guests can access an HIV-testing mobile unit, catch a runway show, and take part in a western disco dance class. Incredibly Gay Pride Party

Sing-along queen Evanna Madonna and Dj Yrnewstopmom are bringing the pride to Bishop Arts  with the Incredibly Gay Pride Party at Jaquval on Saturday, June 20. Beginning at 9 p.m., the pub party features an interactive sing-along drag variety show followed by femme queer dance party. 312 W. Seventh St., Dallas, jaquval.com

After the Parade: A Celebration Without Permission 

When Arlington’s pride festival was cancelled, event production company Crystal Queer Riot responded by creating one of its own. After the Parade: A Celebration Without Permission is a queer-organized, all-day celebration championing queer culture, self-expression, and unapologetic joy taking place on Saturday, June 20 at Truth Vinyl. The record shop will transform into a Pride hub with a courtyard market, local vendors, food and drinks, vinyl DJ sets, a drag show, burlesque performances, and dance party. Trinity Pride Fest

Trinity Pride Fest returns to Fort Worth on Saturday, June 27 with a vibrant evening showcasing community from 6 to 11 p.m. The festival brings together allies, businesses, and organizations dedicated to creating safe and inclusive spaces across Cowtown. The widely-attended festivities kick off with an opening march featuring more than 30 organizations united in support of the LGBTQIA+. This year, the stages are bigger than ever. Turtle Creek Chorale, America’s King 2025 August Edwards, Funky Town Follies, and the Oak Lawn Band will perform. The Wandering Roots Pride Market has doubled in size, with more than 80 vendors, food trucks, and makers. Nonprofit Row connects festivalgoers with local resources and community organizations. SusieCakes Pride Month Cupcake Box

Pride Cocktails at Frankie’s Downtown

Frankie’s Downtown is showing its support this month with three Pride-themed cocktails. Stop by for She Betta Coconut, a tropical tequila cocktail with coconut and lime.
