After annoucing plans this spring, Dock Local has set an opening date for its newest restaurant in Downtown Dallas. The chef-driven seafood concept will officially debut at Dallas Farmers Market on Wednesday, July 16, marking its fourth Dallas-Fort Worth location and fifth nationwide.

Founded by chef Brett Curtis, Dock Local has earned a loyal following by proving that fresh, high-quality seafood doesn’t have to be reserved for coastal cities. Located at 920 S. Harwood Street, the new outpost joins one of Dallas’ busiest food destinations, where it will serve the restaurant’s signature lobster rolls alongside scratch-made seafood dishes, a raw bar, cocktails, and farmers market-exclusive specials.

“Opening at Dallas Farmers Market is an exciting milestone for Dock Local because this location puts us right in the middle of one of Dallas’ most energetic food communities,” said Curtis in a statement. “We’ve always wanted Dock Local to feel welcoming, lively and rooted in hospitality, and the farmers market gives us the opportunity to welcome locals, visitors, families and Downtown guests in a really authentic way.”

Fan favorites making the move Downtown include the Maine Lobster Roll, the Dock-N-Roll mini lobster roll flight, The Original Crab Queso, and the Lobsta Grilled Cheese. The Dallas Farmers Market location will also feature rotating Chef’s Catch specials available only at this restaurant.

The beverage program gets an upgrade as well, with frozen and on-the-rocks DockaRitas, Dock Ranch Waters, a Blueberry Bourbon Smash, and the Blue Coastal cocktail joining a lineup of mocktails, wine, and beers from Dallas-Fort Worth breweries.

The opening continues Dock Local’s steady expansion from its beginnings as a food truck in 2016. Today, the brand operates restaurants across Texas and Tennessee while staying true to its original mission: serving sustainably sourced seafood and chef-driven dishes in a relaxed, approachable setting.

Beginning July 16, Dock Local will be open at the Dallas Farmers Market from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
