Dogs may not know what National Dog Day is, but they’ll happily enjoy the celebration.

In honor of National Dog Day on Wednesday, August. 26, SusieCakes is rolling out its month-long Dog Days of Summer collection, available throughout August at all Dallas-Fort Worth locations. The limited-time lineup features festive treats for both people and pups, with a portion of proceeds benefiting local animal rescue organizations.

The month-long collection has something for every member of the family—two-legged and four-legged alike.

Dogs get their own special menu with Susie’s Famous Dog Treats—two dozen homemade peanut butter and molasses biscuits for $12.95—and the bakery’s returning PupCake, a dog-friendly banana and peanut butter cupcake topped with peanut butter whipped cream for $5.25 each or in boxes of four. And for pups celebrating a birthday, adoption anniversary, or simply living their best life, SusieCakes is also offering a festive Dog Decorated Cake throughout August with 24 hours’ notice.

The Dog Days of Summer collection will be available while supplies last at SusieCakes’ Hillside, Preston Center, and Fort Worth bakeries, as well as online.

Every good dog deserves a treat—and this month, every bite does a little good, too.
