While gradually losing her ability to eat due to six years of misdiagnosed food allergies, she became fascinated with the culinary scene. While warm beverages can be calming, some teas can assist in attaining the opposite effect with their caffeine content that boosts energy levels, and improves mental focus. With the return of cool weather projected to continue for another week, National Tea Day has blessed us with the opportunity to suggest teahouses for you to luxuriate in the aromas and beneficial brews. So don’t put your coats away just yet; enjoy this sweater weather with a cuppa during their afternoon tea or anytime they are steeping loose leaves in their teapots.

Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is a staple of the foothills with its elaborate interior and exterior decor that took more than 40 artisans three years to complete all the segments, including ”it’s hand-carved and hand-painted ceiling, tables, stools, columns, and exterior ceramic panels.” The tea and food menus contain an assortment of options to take your palate on a journey around the globe.
