A Guide to the Best Hummus in Denver

Dek goes here…

Mediterranean cuisine offers some of the most comforting and hearty meals, including a plate of hummus and pita. We looked into the tastiest and coziest places to snack on hummus and came up with the list below to help you satisfy the craving.

Safta

3330 Brighton Blvd #201, Denver, CO 80216

Does the perfect hummus exist? Six of them do, and you can find them on the menu at Safta. You can’t go wrong from a classic tahini hummus to their lamb ragù hummus. Pair it with their fresh baked bread and invite your friends so you can try them all.

Sahara Mediterranean Restaurant

9636 E Arapahoe Rd, Greenwood Village, CO 80112

The family-owned team at Sahara has been serving up the Middle Eastern comfort food they grew up on since 1993. Their hummus is a classic blend of chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic, garnished with extra virgin olive oil and paprika. Add it to any of their hearty, delicious dishes, or get it on its own to dip with some veggies and pita bread.

Mazevo Mediterranean Eatery

3961 Tennyson St, Denver, CO 80212

Mazevo joined Denver’s Mediterranean lineup in the Spring of 2020 on the popular Tennyson Street corridor. Providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, they have entrées for various dietary restrictions – all of which are perfectly complimented by their signature hummus.

Ash’Kara

2005 W 33rd Ave, Denver, CO 80211

Prepare your palate to journey through contemporary Israeli cuisine at Ash’Kara. Begin your exploration with their dips, including their signature hand-whipped hummus served with a heritage wood-fired pita that gets baked in a 900-degree brick oven and contains local wheat and honey ingredients.
