Temperatures have dropped, fans have gathered, and everyone’s fingers are itching for their favorite game day snacks. That can mean only one thing—football season is in full swing. In true foodie fashion, you come for the game but stay for the game day eats. Luckily for Houstonians, NRG Stadium is known for serving some of the tastiest, and was even ranked #3 on USA Today’s 10 best NFL stadiums for food.

Cheer on the Texans and check out these must-try restaurant vendors and stalls dishing out a culinary experience fit for the enthusiastic football fan and foodie.

El Tiempo Cantina

Few things pair better with touchdowns than Tex-Mex, and spectators can get their fill at El Tiempo, located in sections 118, 138, 501, and 527 at NRG. Indulge in everything from chips and queso to sizzling fajita tacos and fully-loaded nachos. Get loose with an ice-cold beer, a frozen margarita, or non-alcoholic agua fresca.

Craft Pita

Craft Pita is among the latest additions to NRG, added as an official vendor for the 2025 season. Known for its fresh, locally sourced ingredients, the Lebanese restaurant, which has two Houston-area locations, offers up items like Mediterranean nachos, chicken kabobs, gyro pitas and bowls, and hummus with pita chips. Catch them at NRG on both sides of the Club Level (310 and 338) at the 50-yard line.

Hugo’s

Watch football and enjoy cuisine from a James Beard Award-winning chef at the same time at chef Hugo Ortega’s namesake restaurant, Hugo’s, cushioned in sections 309 and 337 of the Club Level at NRG. The menu includes a trio of brisket or carnitas tacos, street corn, chips and guacamole, chicken taquitos, and the famed Hugoritas—essentially, the ultimate recipe for the perfect game day.

Maui Wowi

Looking for a sweet escape amid a sea of roaring fans? Head to sections 137, level 300 concessions, 511, or 532 for a taste of paradise at Maui Wowi. Find fruit smoothies like the Aloha Colada and Wistful Waikiki, or sip on premium coffee and espresso drinks like the Ohana Dark Roast and Cappuccino Maekima—the perfect mid-game boost.

Philly Flats

This is the only acceptable time to celebrate Philly being in the house. The Katy-based, veteran-owned restaurant, Philly Flats serves cheesesteaks, chicken tenders, wings, crispy mozzarella sticks, and fries inside the stadium. Stop by sections 112 or 536 to taste the best that Philly has to offer.

STUFF’d Wings

Many would argue that a football game is not complete without crispy and saucy gameday wings. STUFF’d Wings, located at booth 510, brings their flavor-filled bites to NRG. Enjoy stadium-exclusive items like seafood boudin wings, and chicken boudin or dirty rice-filled wings. For a mouthful, get your hands on the chicken brisket sandwich, which is layered with collard green coleslaw and housemade sauce.

Trill Burgers

Outside of the brick-and-mortar locations in Montrose and Spring, Houstonians have multiple opportunities to try Bun B’s popular Trill Burgers at NRG. Make your way to sections 115, 135, 520, and 548 to try beloved menu items like the OG Trill Burger and Vegan OG Burger. For fast  and convenient service, place an order at section 135’s cashier-less station and never miss a touchdown.

Crown Royal Saloon

Head to the Crown Royal Saloon in Section 545 on the South Concourse to have all your boozy needs met. This seated bar area boasts a menu of specialty cocktails and draws in the crowds with its high-energy music, visits from Texans cheerleaders, and screens to view the game. The Crown Royal Saloon is open during every game and is accessible to all ticket holders.

Truth BBQ

Devouring barbecue while watching players toss around pigskin is quite poetic if you think about it. Stop by Truth BBQ, which has multiple counters in the stadium for your fix. Sections 109 and 129 are limited to a menu of brisket-loaded nachos, chopped brisket sandwiches, and pulled pork sandwiches; while Sections 309 and 337 at the 50-yard line offer the full Truth BBQ experience with brisket, ribs, sausage, plus sides like tater tot casserole, baked beans, potto salad, cole slaw, plus banana pudding.

Bud Light Cantina

In lieu of grabbing a beer on the way to and from your seat, crack open a cold one at the Bud Light Cantina, located on the Southwest Field Level Concourse near Section 139. This seated bar is open to all ticket holders, and offers a lively atmosphere for fans.
