Pappas Restaurants is turning dining out into an opportunity to give back. The Houston-based restaurant group has announced the inaugural Pappas Restaurant Weeks, a six-week fundraising event running from Saturday, August 1, through Monday, September 7, that will benefit food banks in the communities where its restaurants operate.

Unlike Houston Restaurant Weeks, which features hundreds of participating restaurants across the city, Pappas Restaurant Weeks focuses exclusively on the company’s own portfolio of concepts. Guests can enjoy specially curated menus and featured items, with a portion of proceeds benefiting local hunger-relief organizations.

The initiative spans all 10 Pappas brands, including Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, Pappasitos Cantina, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Pappas Bar-B-Q, Pappas Seafood House, Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse, Pappas Burger, Little’s Oyster Bar, Dot Coffee Shop, and Yiayia’s Greek Kitchen. More than 80 restaurants across eight states are participating.

“For decades, our restaurants have been dedicated to bringing people together around exceptional food and hospitality,” Christina Pappas, chief marketing officer for Pappas Restaurants, said in a statement. “Pappas Restaurant Weeks is an extension of that commitment on a national scale, giving guests the opportunity to experience thoughtfully curated menus while deepening our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.”

In Houston, proceeds will benefit the Houston Food Bank, while participating restaurants in other markets will support 15 additional food banks across Texas, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New Mexico, and Ohio. The initiative builds on the company’s ongoing hunger-relief efforts, including its Bite to Fight giving campaign and annual Pappas Can volunteer initiative.

Special menus vary by concept, offering diners a chance to experience some of each restaurant’s signature dishes while supporting a good cause. At Pappasitos Cantina, a $40 three-course prix-fixe menu donates $5 from every meal to local food banks and includes choices like chicken fajitas, pork carnitas, Atlantic salmon, and Tres Leches cake. Meanwhile, Little’s Oyster Bar offers a more seafood-focused $65 three-course menu, with $8 from each meal benefiting the Houston Food Bank. Guests can choose from starters like wild-caught shrimp or Littleneck clam chowder before entrées such as Gulf grouper, Texas redfish, or a heritage pork chop, finishing with desserts including a flourless chocolate tort or tropical rum parfait.

For Houstonians, the event offers a chance to revisit longtime favorites like Pappadeaux, Pappasitos, and Little’s Oyster Bar while helping fight food insecurity across the region. Menus, reservations, and participating locations are available at pappasrestaurantweeks.com.
