Eberhard Social House, a new dual-level bar concept from the Kirby Group, is now open at 1216 West Clay St. in the Harlow District. The bar boasts a sophisticated, minimalistic design, with sleek interiors, ambient lighting, and plush furnishings, and a cocktail menu that showcases a spin on classics like a tequila-based espresso martini and a zero-proof rose prickly pear spritz. Venture in for happy hour, available Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., during which cocktails are priced $8 or less.

The Rustic is on the move in Downtown. The popular Texas-born restaurant and live music venue is relocating from its current home at 1836 Polk Street to 1718 Jackson Street, next door to the expanded wing of the George R. Brown Convention Center. Fans can continue to expect live music, comfort food, and a laid-back vibe, with new perks like expanded on-site parking and a dedicated rideshare pick-up and drop-off area. The Rustic will continue to operate at its current location through the end of the year, and then reopen at its new address in winter 2026.

The JW Marriott Houston Downtown will debut the Perch, a new rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking Main Street, in early 2026. The Perch will pair sweeping skyline views with a menu led by executive chef Rafael Gonzalez, who brings more than 20 years of global culinary experience to the hotel. Guests can look forward to dishes that reflect Houston’s diverse food culture, alongside wines, local craft beers, and cocktails. The Perch will be open for lunch, dinner, and happy hour. The opening is a key part of the hotel’s broader expansion, including the transformation of the historic Battelstein’s Building and new guest rooms and amenities.
Cupbop, the Korean BBQ-in-a-cup concept made famous on Shark Tank, is making its Houston-area debut with two new openings this month. A Pasadena-area outpost will debut on Friday, November 14 at 5116 Fairmont Parkway, followed by a Northwest Houston location slated to open in mid-December. Known for its customizable “cup of wow” bowls, built with rice, noodles, cabbage, proteins or veggies, and sauces, Cupbop pairs Korean flavors with a fun, K-pop–inspired atmosphere.

Murray’s Pizza & Wine, a new pizza concept from the team behind Leaf & Grain, is now open at 9655 Katy Freeway, Suite 3110. Named for co-owner Deets Hoffman’s wife, the full-service restaurant pairs artisan, Texas-milled, long-fermented pizzas and small plates with a curated wine list, cocktails, and local beers. Guests can expect pies like sausage a la vodka and the not-Hawaiian, alongside dishes like hamachi-salmon crudo and Italian bread pudding.

The Henry, a neighborhood restaurant from the Fox Restaurant Concepts, will open its first Houston location in Town & Country Village on Wednesday, November 12. The stylish space boasts a patio, full-service bar, and coffee bar, and will be open to guests for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. An all-day menu features seasonal dishes like smoked salmon bagels, huevos rancheros enchiladas, Korean Prime skirt steak, and rigatoni alla vodka, alongside a beverage program that ranges from craft coffee drinks to cocktails, local beers, and zero-proof bevs.

Bar Madonna at the Marlene has expanded into the open air with its new Wine Garden, a charming courtyard that is an extension of the moody cocktail lounge open on weekdays from 3 to 10 p.m. and on weekends from noon to 10 p.m. Guests can explore the all-French wine list featuring Champagne, Burgundies, and Sancerre and pair with light noshes like rosemary almonds, Castelvetrano olives, and olive-oil chips. The opening coincides with new entertainment programming, including Jazz Sundays in the afternoons.

The Taco Stand is now open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight at 1503 Westheimer Road in Montrose. Housed in a renovated 1920s-era apartment building, the third outpost of the popular taco joint features a 1,000-square-foot patio facing out to Westheimer and a full drive-thru. Guests can expect the restaurant’s signature street-style tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and bowls, built with house-made tortillas and salsas; plus agua frescas, canned and frozen cocktails, Mexican and domestic beers, and classic tequila-based drinks like margaritas and paloma, available for dine-in, drive-thru, and to-go.

The Bastion Collection has partnered with Houston catering company Café Natalie to launch a new cocktail bar called Moon at 1800 Post Oak Boulevard, in the second story space above Tavola. With a cocktail program curated by Michelin-recognized mixologist Rubén Rolón, Moon features classics with cosmic flair, as in the mezcal-and-yuzu Morning Dew and cilantro-tequila On Stranger Tides, plus snacks like truffled croque-monsieur and wagyu sliders. The opening coincides with the launch of Soleil, a new events venue at the same address with capacity for up to 200 guests; and Bastion Events, a new catering service from the Bastion Collection, also in partnership with Café Natalie.
Happenings
Hugo’s is raising a glass to Mexico’s finest with a special Clase Azul tequila dinner on Wednesday, November 12. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a reception featuring passed bites, followed by a four-course seated dinner at 6:30 p.m., crafted by brothers, chefs Hugo and Ruben Ortega. Each course will be paired with a different expression of Clase Azul Tequila, celebrating the spirit’s journey from Jalisco’s agave fields to its iconic hand-painted decanters. Clase Azul Global Brand Maestro Ruben Vargas will be on hand to guide guests through the tasting, Tickets are $195 per person and can be purchased here.
Zanti River Oaks continues its themed brunches with a throwback to the ‘80s on Saturday, November 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can expect a live DJ spinning hits from the decade, and an 80s-inspired menu alongside classic brunch favorites, and a dress code of neon, sequins, and acid-washed denim. Reservations are available via OpenTable.

Pho Prime in Pearland is teaming up with Kizuna Matcha for a one-day-only pop-up on Saturday, November 15. Guests can sip on handcrafted Kizuna Matcha drinks and try exclusive creations that blend Pho Prime’s bold Vietnamese flavors with Kizuna’s smooth, earthy matcha, like iced lattes and seasonal sips.
The Marigold Club is bringing a taste of Sonoma to Montrose with an intimate Scribe Winery dinner on Wednesday, November 19 at 6:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a four-course menu paired with rare and limited-production Scribe wines. Scribe owner Andrew Mariani and Global Director Matt Ahern will be in attendance to share the stories and philosophy behind each pour. The meal features dishes like Hokkaido scallop crudo with citrus crème fraîche, housemade gnudi, Duck Wellington, and a classic tarte tatin, with bubbles to kick off the evening.The cost is $295 per person, and reservations can be made on OpenTable.

On the Menu
King Steak, the newly minted Galleria-area steakhouse, is now open for lunch service. The restaurant’s full menu of appetizers, entrees, salads, steaks, and sides is available Monday through Friday, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Oheya by Uchi, Hai Hospitality’s exclusive omakase-only restaurant, is launching its first ever happy hour service beginning Wednesday, November 12. Available Wednesday through Sunday from 5 to 6 p.m., by reservation only, the happy hour features a 10-course menu for $50 per person, plus drink specials like $5 wines by the glass and $6 cocktails. Guests also have the choice to order a la carte.

Camaraderie is leaning into comfort and value with its new Sunday Supper service. The family-style feast is $42 per person, and features a weekly menu centered on roasted chicken with a seasonal salad, silky potato purée, roasted vegetables, Parker House rolls, and a spiced cake with housemade vanilla ice cream for dessert. Guests can add bottomless carafes of red or white wine (From the Tank) for $16 per person.
