Phoenix, Arizona, USA cityscape in downtown at night.

The Valley is one of the most exciting and fast-evolving food scenes in the country. It’s a place where desert roots, cultural diversity, and bold creativity come together. From Sonoran traditions and neighborhood haunts to elevated restaurants, luxury experiences, and a dynamic bar scene, this is a market that’s defining how the Southwest eats and drinks right now. After 30 years eating and drinking in other cities, it’s truly our honor to finally be here.

Over time, we hope DiningOut Phoenix becomes your daily destination for discovering what’s happening across the Valley, from neighborhood guides and trend spotlights to chef stories, cultural conversations, and insider recommendations. Just as we’ve done in other cities, our goal is simple: to capture the tastes, the people, the places, and the moments shaping the dining scene right now.

We’ll be publishing articles on where to get the best everything, the hardest reservations around, chefs you need to know, and other features and guides almost every day. Expect to hear about standout openings in Downtown Phoenix to destination dining in Scottsdale, must-try dishes across the Valley, and the evolving culture connecting it all.

But more than anything, DiningOut Phoenix is about community. We’re building a platform to reflect the voices of the city: chefs, bartenders, operators, creators, and the diners who make this scene what it is. We want you to be part of it. We’re actively looking for contributors across editorial and social media who can help tell the stories that make this market unlike anywhere else. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.

To celebrate our arrival, we’re bringing the DiningOut experience to the desert with our signature event: RARE Steak Championship on November 12 at Salt River Fields. This one-night festival brings together top chefs from across Phoenix and Scottsdale, each serving unlimited bites of premium steak from classic preparations to creative interpretations, all paired with curated cocktails from some of the region’s best bar talent.

Expect live music, DJs, and an electric atmosphere squeezing the industry and community together in one place. It’s the perfect way to introduce ourselves, and to start building something special here. We can’t wait to see you there.

Cheers,

Josh Dinar (jdinar@diningout.com), co-founder of DiningOut
