We know you’ve been meaning to try one of the many exciting restaurants that have opened up across the Valley. Now, with the return of Phoenix Restaurant Week on May 15 to 24, it’s the perfect time to dine out at a new, or new-to-you, eatery around the city.
Since its inception in 2018, the biannual, 10-day event has raised awareness for Arizona’s nearly 13,000 restaurants. This year over 250 have signed up, from fast-casual favorites to formal dining destinations. Each participating place offers three courses, and to satisfy every budget and appetite, menus are priced at four levels: $25 (lunch only), $33, $44, or $55, plus tax and gratuity.
You can filter options by cuisine, cost, zip code, and dietary preferences on the Phoenix Restaurant Week website. If you still need help deciding where to start, we’ve curated a list of 10 standouts, including recent debuts, award winners, and fan favorites.

Foley Ranch and BBQ

Foley Ranch is North Phoenix’s newest BBQ hotspot, and now it’s serving up a three-course lunch menu in honor of Restaurant Week. Start with cornbread hush puppies, deep-fried in beef tallow and served with a honey drizzle and whipped honey butter, half wedge salad, or a smoked chili bread bowl.
For the main course, choose smoked pork ribs or build your own plate with any two house-smoked meats, including pulled pork, jalapeño sausage, St. Louis ribs, beef brisket, or pulled chicken. Each entrée comes with a side like mac and cheese, housemade potato chips, or potato salad. 21001 N. Tatum Blvd., Unit 93, Phoenix, foleyranch.com
North Italia

For handmade Italian food made from scratch daily, North Italia delivers a solid $25 lunch option. Start with a chopped Caesar, Sicilian meatballs, or crispy risotto, then decide between entrées like chicken salad, the Italian Short Rib Sandwich, or margherita pizza. It’s an authentic Italian menu with a modern twist. Multiple locations, northitalia.com

If you’re looking for a high-energy night out, The Mexicano leans all the way in. The build-your-own michelada bar, lauded as the first of its kind, will feature more than 40 toppings, including oysters, pickled jicama, and dry chorizo.
Add in a live DJ and lava rock fajitas served sizzling on a hot stone, for an experience as over-the-top as the menu. Expect classic crowd-pleasers like street tacos, tamales, pineapple guacamole, plus churros and flan to finish. It’s a strong pick if you want dinner to feel like a fiesta. 4801 E. The Neighborly

Arizona native and fourth-generation restaurateur Christopher Collins created The Neighborly as a go-to for elevated local dining. With tufted leather booths, a bustling bar, and a menu known for seafood and standout Brussels sprouts, it feels distinctly Phoenician. No wonder it earned a loyal following.
For Restaurant Week, the $33 three-course lunch menu offers guests a taste of a few shareable favorites and the chance to test fresh additions, from the tempura-style green beans and the Crunchy Asian Ahi Salad to the signature Blonde Bar. Starfish Scottsdale

Starfish Scottsdale opened earlier this month to big-time hype, and Restaurant Week is the perfect excuse to book a reservation. Here, the modern Asian fusion menu starts out with options like pork dumplings, spicy ahi tuna rolls, and steak satay. For the main dish, choose two (out of 11) dishes such as the Chilean Sea Bass Thai Green Curry, a favorite among the culinary team. Dessert leans classic, with a choice between a flourless chocolate cake or cheesecake. 8390 E. Vía de Ventura, Scottsdale, starfishhospitalitygroup.com
Canal Club

Located inside the recently renovated The Scott Resort & Spa in Old Town, Scottsdale, Canal Club is one of those swanky, fun restaurants that’s elegant but approachable. It’s the kind of place you want to linger, sip something good, and enjoy the atmosphere, which makes it a perfect pick for Restaurant Week.
Inspired by cool Havana nights, enjoy a first course of ceviche or Manchego Cuban Street Fries. Next, move on to Crispy Skin Salmon, Gaucho Rubbed Ribeye, or Peruvian Chicken. Finish the night with some churro doughnut holes, a citrusy guava panna cotta, or Plantain Foster with Rum Cake. 4925 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, thecanalclubaz.com

Pinyon Restaurant

Newly opened in fall 2025, this coastal Mediterranean restaurant in Scottsdale Civic Center Park comes from Hi Noon Hospitality, the team behind the beloved Buck & Rider. “Our goal is for guests to feel transported for the evening,” said the company president Emilly Collins. “[It’s] like visiting the Mediterranean coast for a few hours.”
Collins added that the Restaurant Week menu will showcase a range of dishes, including “freshly shucked oysters, skewers cooked over our Josper grill imported from Barcelona, and saffron risotto.” End the evening with seasonal, small-batch ice cream and a housemade pignolo cookie. 7363 E. Latha Restaurant and Bar

“Latha” is the Swahili word for flavor, a fitting name for this pan-African kitchen, inspired by the interconnected foodways of Africa, the Caribbean, Brazil, and the Southern U.S.
Start with either the Avocado Palmiste Salad with roasted fig dressing or a Watermelon Salad with awaze honey vinaigrette. For the main course, choose between Passion Fruit Mojo Shrimp with cilantro rice, pickled red onion, tostones, and an avocado-radish salad, or Smoked Awaze Chicken with bacon, fettuccine, yassa, lemon, and manchego. Dessert options include strawberry pound cake or a passion fruit brigadeiro torte. 628 E. Adams St., Phoenix, lathaphx.com
Elements at Sanctuary Resort

Ready to experience farm-to-table fine dining and panoramic mountain views at one of the Valley’s most renowned restaurants?
We asked executive sous chef Daniel Webber what he’s most excited to share with guests, and he said the “rich, chargrilled, espresso-rubbed Ibérico pork paired with velvety cauliflower puree and tangy and sour cherry mostarda.”
The first course starts with roasted beet salad, tempura-fried wild mushrooms, or chicken wings with a sticky glaze. Transition to the second course with the aforementioned Ibérico pork, pan-roasted chicken, pan-seared salmon, or eggplant Milanese with a tahini vinaigrette. End the evening indulging in tiramisu or pavlova, and those glorious mountain views. 5700 E. McDonald Dr., Paradise Valley, sanctuaryaz.com

A wood-fired take on classic American fare, Roaring Fork in Old Town Scottsdale is a longtime local favorite. Founded by James Beard Award–winning chef Robert McGrath, the restaurant is popular for its open-flame cooking with a Southwestern edge.
The Restaurant Week menu includes signature dishes such as sugar-cured duck breast with green chile mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, sour cherry mustard glaze, and onion jam, making it a strong pick if you’re craving something hearty and distinctly Arizonan. 4800 N.
