Eat your Stranger Things feelings at The Salty with the two limited-time doughnut specials. We’re talking The Demogorgon Flan and The Upside Down Pecan Pie, which not only speak to the hit show, but also to the Thanksgiving holiday.

With The Demogorgon Flan, expect a spooky-looking doughnut that resembles the fictional demon or, for those who don’t know the show, a flower. The treat features a 24-hour brioche doughnut stuffed with sweet potato custard. It’s dipped in dark caramel glaze and crowned with torched meringue blooming from the center like the jaws of the demogorgon.

The Upside Down Pecan Pie speaks to the Thanksgiving season by stuffing another 24-hour brioche doughnut full of maple-pecan Bavarian cream. With an eye-like portal decking the bed of candied-pecan crumble on top, the morning dessert also pays homage to the Stranger Things final season.

Like the show, both doughnuts lead toward the dark and mysterious, and you’ll want to binge it all at once. Also like the hit horror series, it’s not sweet at all, offering something unusual but addictive all the same.

Get one or both doughnuts at all Salty locations now and until November 30. Visit Denver’s outpost at 3985 Tennyson St., Suite 100.
