Looking for the best place to sport your green this year? The weekend leading up to St. Patrick’s Day will bring rowdy bar crawls and boozy brunches to Atlanta, and the fun won’t stop the day of, either. We’ve gathered a few options—from long-running neighborhood block parties to BeltLine celebrations—so you can drink all the green beer your heart desires.

Whether you’re in the mood for an all-day festival or a festive pub brunch, these spots are ready to bring the Irish cheer.

Both the Midtown and Buckhead locations of Fado Irish Pub will host weekend block parties and day-of brunches in honor of St. Paddy’s Day. On Saturday, March 14, you’ll want to be in Midtown when doors open at 6:45 a.m. for prime parade viewing, with Irish dance performances in the evening; while Buckhead will offer live music starting at 1 p.m. You can’t go wrong with brunch at either establishment come the actual holiday. Kegs & Eggs at Neighbor’s Pub

A ticket to this Virginia-Highland block party on Tuesday, March 17 guarantees free admission to all of the neighborhood bars and restaurants, three complimentary shots, and specials to redeem everywhere from Moe’s and Joe’s to Dark Horse. But Neighbor’s Pub serves as a sort of home base, with a Red Bull party tent in the parking lot covering a DJ, food trucks, and more. Head to the Battery and enjoy $6 green beer all weekend from March 13-17 at Punch Bowl Social. Bowling lanes and arcade games already make it a go-to for friendly competition, and the addition of festive party favors and a Celtic-inspired soundtrack will only add to the fun. Get Lucky Fest at Park Tavern

On Saturday, March 14, the beloved Park Tavern will play host to the Get Lucky Fest—one of Atlanta’s largest outdoor St. Patrick’s Day festivals, and the only one with Piedmont Park as a backdrop. Enjoy live music from Sucker Punch 2:30 to 4 p.m. and Stop Light Observations from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., plus over 25 other ATL DJs throughout the day. Midtown St. Paddy’s Block Party

Over 2,000 partygoers are expected to flock to this Midtown block party on Tuesday, March 17. Check in at Politan Row in Colony Square before collecting your beads and picking up a map—you’ll need it to navigate all 30 participating establishments, from mainstay bars like the Nook to top-rated restaurants like Urban Hai.
