Project Angel Heart was established in 1991 as a meal delivery service for those too medically ill to shop or cook for themselves. With the motto “nutritious food is medicine for people facing illness,” they focus on preparing healthy “medically tailored meals.” Today, over 100 Colorado restaurants will donate 25% of their breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and/or takeout sales towards Dining Out for Life. In its 29th year, this annual fundraiser raises funds for organizations assisting those living with or affected by HIV. Whether you are in the mood for food or drink, there is an opportunity to help the cause all day.

With the large group of participants around Colorado, it is easy for you to contribute to the cause by visiting a restaurant in or near your neighborhood. Check out the list of over 100 restaurants to see who’s participating and at which meal times throughout the day. Anthony’s Pizza & PastaBeau Jo’sCuba Cuba SandwicheriaFive Guys, and Los Chingones (DTC-Dinner) all have locations across town donating 25% of dinner and lunch. Little India and Wahoo’s Fish Tacos are adding onto dinner and lunch, with 25% from their bar sales as well. If you want to start doing your part early, Sam’s No. 3’s is donating from breakfast until dinner with food and bar.

We’ve created a shortened guide of where you can get to a participating restaurant around town to help the cause. Join us in Dining Out for Life at one of these generous establishments.
