Join executive chef Ricky Biswas at Roth’s Sea & Steak for Celebrating Land & Sea: A Friends of James Beard Benefit. The two-night experience takes place on October 9 and 10, and includes a concert, 10-course meal, cocktails, wine, and more.
“For me, the bigger reason behind doing this goes beyond putting on a special dinner,” said Biswas. “As Roth’s continues to grow, I want us to use the restaurant to contribute to the larger culinary community and create experiences that connect chefs, producers, partners, guests and organizations like the James Beard Foundation here in Colorado Springs.”
Plus, he added, the event is a great way to raise funds for the Foundation.
Start the fun on Friday, October 9 inside Brohan’s, the elevated lounge located within the prestigious restaurant. The night starts with caviar, cocktails, and a meet-and-greet with the team and fellow event goers. After that, head to the Ford Amphitheater to listen to live music by honky-tonk star Dwight Yoakam.
For night two, on Saturday, October 10, enjoy an intimate 10-course tasting meal complete with curated wine pairings. The idea of the dinner, said Biswas, is to showcase his personal journey as a chef coming from India, learning French cooking techniques, working in great kitchens around the world, and coming to Colorado.
After the epic dinner, attend a brief program with the James Beard Foundation. It includes a short documentary screening, which will stay secret until the big night.
