So you think you love tacos and tequila? Come put your taste buds to the test at the 8th annual Top Taco Festival from DiningOut Events, a culinary experience that returns every summer, bigger, better, and always back by popular demand.
Unlimited Tacos and Tequila
Hosted this year on the spacious lawns of Downtown Westminster’s Center Park, more than 60 of metro Denver’s best chefs will once again grill off for the 2022 title of best taco-maker in town. Festival-goers must come hungry and ready to chow down on unlimited taco samples in order to crown the night’s victor. Competitors have the chance to take the win in three different categories: Best Creative Taco, Best Traditional Taco, and Best Vegetarian Taco.
This year’s contenders include some of your favorite names on the local taco scene (like Adelitas, Bartaco, Los Dos Potrillos, Tamayo, and Torchy’s) plus some fierce new contenders (think: Federales, Gringos Tacos, Street Feud, and Ghost Donkey) and many, many more.
Need something to wash it all down with? No problem. Each taco will be complemented by a signature tequila cocktail crafted by the region’s most masterful mixologists vying to take home the title of Best Cocktail.
Live Music, Live Wrestling, and VIP Treatment
And of course, what’s Top Taco without yard games, swag for days, lucha libre, tequila tasting lounges, and FOUR stages for live music? This year’s musical headliners will include local Cumbia band Grupo Kaoba, Colorado’s popular Front Range fusion band Los Cheesies, DJ Chonz from Denver’s throwback station FLO 107.1, and 10-piece local salsa group La Candela, reuniting for this night only!
Over in the VIP lounge, ticket-holders will get exclusive access to NINE extra taco vendors as part of the VIP BBQ taco showdown, featuring Denver’s premier pitmasters. (Not to mention cozy lounge seating, premium craft cocktails, and private restrooms.)
Giving Back to the Community
DininOut is also proud to announce that $50,000 of this year’s ticket sales will be donated to the Westminster Legacy Foundation and the Colorado Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
