While gradually losing her ability to eat due to six years of misdiagnosed food allergies, she became fascinated with the culinary scene. The Buffs have embarked on an exciting new era! With the addition of Deion Sanders as their head coach, the announcement sent waves of excitement through the sports world. However, even the most fervent fans were unprepared for the galaxy of stars who have graced the Colorado University Football program with their presence.

The buzz is electric, and we hope you get to be a part of it by attending one or more of our games to immerse yourself in the pulsating energy of the crowd and join in the spirited cheers as our 3-0 team sets its sights on countless more victories. If attending a game in person isn’t in the cards for you, but you still want to bask in the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts in the foothills city, we’ve curated a list of places you can grab good food and beverages. Fuel up for the early high fives and celebrations at these places.

The Sophomore

1043 Pearl St, Boulder, CO 80302

Located conveniently along the bustling Pearl Street, The Sophomore has taken the town by storm, opening its doors just in the nick of time for the season’s excitement. With every seat offering a front-row view to a big screen, this establishment not only promises an unobstructed visual delight but also elevates your overall experience with a menu featuring top-notch cuisine and an impressive selection of beverages. You can read more about this new hot spot here.

The Post Chicken and Beer

2027 13th St, Boulder, CO 80302

The Post is a beloved Colorado institution, renowned for its delectable combination of crispy fried chicken and ice-cold beer. With multiple welcoming locations throughout town, you’re never far from a taste of their culinary excellence. Whether you’re joining them for a game day gathering or planning to take their delectable fare to your own tailgate or home viewing party, The Post has you covered with enticing game day specials. But it’s not just about fried chicken and beer here. Their extensive menu is full of culinary delights, including a selection of mouthwatering gluten-free options that have garnered a dedicated following among food enthusiasts.

The West End Tavern

926 Pearl St, Boulder, CO 80302

One of Boulder’s culinary gems that never fails to captivate my taste buds is none other than the West End Tavern. What I initially envisioned as a ‘tavern’ pleasantly surprised me with its unwavering commitment to serving top-tier cuisine. Indulge in the game day specials they offer, each one an invitation to culinary bliss. For those who, like me, revel in carnivorous delights, their signature BBQ Board is nothing short of paradise, an irresistible feast that keeps me coming back for more.
