Months after debuting its new Houston-area location in the NOVEL River Oaks building, Fielding’s is keeping the momentum going with the launch of Friday lunch service, made extra enticing with a 25 cent martini special.

Offered weekly from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the restaurant is giving Houstonians reason to enjoy their summer Fridays over a chef-driven midday menu and hand-crafted martinis that won’t break the bank. The special is limited to two martinis per person, with guests given the choice to have theirs crafted with Tito’s vodka or Junipero gin.

“Our goal was to create something exciting to close out the week—something fun, flavorful, and unmistakably Fielding’s,” said Cary Attar, CEO of Fielding’s Culinary Group.  “There’s no better way to start the weekend than with a handcrafted martini for a quarter and a menu that’s as indulgent as it is diverse.”

As Fieldings is open in the evenings for happy hour and dinner, and during the day for weekend brunch, Friday is the only day during which lunch will be served. Along with the restaurant’s core menu, lunch will include seasonal expressions, with small plates like A5 Japanese wagyu tiradito with romesco and green apple; Hokkaido scallop with dashi beurre blanc; and hamachi crudo over crispy rice with miso aioli and smoked trout roe.

Soups and salads like the harvest chicken cobb, mixed with Roquefort cheese, apple, and creamy cider dressing can turn into an indulgent lunch when paired with sides like truffle fries and lobster mac and cheese. And handhelds like the Fielding’s griddle burger with caramelized onions and hot sauce mayo serve as even heartier options.

Those that want to keep the party going after they reach the two martini minimum can stick around for happy hour, which begins at 4 p.m. on Fridays. Fielding’s happy hour is just as easy on the pocket book, with half price cocktails, $2 off all draft and bottled beer, and $3 off wines by the glass.
