New York City is one of the most dynamic, diverse, and influential food cities in the world. It’s a place where culture, creativity, and cuisine collide on every block.

It’s our honor to be here.

Over time, we hope DiningOut NYC will be your daily destination for discovering what’s happening across the boroughs, from neighborhood guides and trend spotlights to chef’s stories, cultural conversations, and insider recommendations. Just as we’ve done in other cities, our goal is simple: to capture the tastes, the people, the places, and the moments shaping the dining scene right now.

We’ll be publishing new stories, guides, and features almost every day, sourced from locals and highlighting everything from buzzy openings in Brooklyn to legacy institutions in Manhattan, underground supper clubs in Queens, and the evolving food culture of the Bronx and Staten Island.

But more than anything, DiningOut NYC is about community.

We’re building a platform that reflects the voices of the city: chefs, bartenders, operators, creators, and all the diners who live and breathe New York hospitality. And we want you to be part of it. We’re actively looking for contributors across editorial and social media who can help tell the stories that make this city unlike anywhere else. Please reach out to us if you’re interested.

To celebrate our launch, we’re bringing the DiningOut spirit together at our signature event, RARE Steak Championship at Brooklyn’s Industry City on September 10. The festival features 25-plus of New York’s most exciting chefs firing up bottomless tastes of top-tier steak, each dish paired with a curated cocktail from the best of the city’s bar talent.

There will be live music, DJs spinning, and great vibes all night. It’s the best way we can think of to introduce ourselves and start the conversation in person. We can’t wait to see you there.

New York has always set the pace for how people eat, drink, and gather. We’re here to document it, celebrate it, and be part of what comes next.

So please pull up a chair. There’s plenty of room at the table.

Cheers,

Josh Dinar,  jdinar@diningout.com
