Bottomless pizza, specialty wine dinners, and a flower-fueled pop-up has us excited for the week. We’re planning on going to the latest French Dip Showdown on Monday, featuring two hot chefs. March 21:  Pizza & Posies at Gattara

On Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m., indulge in an afternoon of flowers, food, and fun at Gattara inside Warwick Denver Hotel. Tickets run $85 per person and include a pizza-making demonstration by chef Mimmo Faid and a bouquet-making class led by Lily & The Bee Floral Design. During the event fill up on bottomless pizza, get two spritzes from the interactive Spring Spritz Bar, take home your flowers, and receive complimentary valet parking. Tickets are available here.

March 22: Wine Dinner at Marigold Lyons

For one night only, Marigold Lyons brings diners through Italy’s lesser-known wine regions, showcasing rare varietals by passionate winemakers. The four-course prix-fixe dinner runs $85 per person. Add on one of the two curated wine flights for additional $55 per person. Reservations available via Tock.

March 22: Drag Brunch at Apple Blossom

Head to the Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a great brunch with a side of entertainment. Local entertainer, accomplished vocalist, and choreographer Freda Slaves creates a bold and intentional show deeply rooted in honoring her Black and Queer communities. During the show, indulge in a full brunch spread and bottomless mimosas and bottomless espresso martinis. Reservations available on OpenTable.

March 23: French Dip Showdown Between Riot BBQ x Lucina and Xiquita

Get ready for another French Dip Showdown at Pony Up in Downtown Denver. This month we have chefs Manny Barella and Erasmo Casiano duking it out for glory. The fun starts at 4 p.m. and the sandwiches will be available until they sell out. Get one of each or choose a combo plate, each for $20.

March 25: Poderi Gianni Gagliardo Wine Dinner at Barolo Grill

Join Barolo Grill at 6 p.m. to welcome the restaurant’s longtime friend, Stefano Gagliardo, for a one-night-only wine dinner. The evening starts with pairings featuring Gagliardo’s iconic ‘Fallegro’ Favorita, then moves on to a spread of Nebbiolos. The event is priced at $275 per person, and reservations can be made via OpenTable. March 25 to 31: Sample HigherDOSE at The Rally Hotel

The Rally Hotel is collaborating with the wellness tech and recovery tools brand,HigherDOSE, to offer hotel guests aconcierge program featuring in-room rentals of HigherDOSE’s best-selling products. Sample goods for yourself, for free, between 12 and 5 p.m. with a reservation or as a walk-in. The lineup includes a Red Light Glow Bar, PEMF Nervous System Rest Station, and a detox infrared session. 

March 26: Kettle to Kitchen Dinner at The Post Lafayette

The Post Lafayette chefs Kevin Grossi, Nick Bashford, and Jeloni Jenefor, along with head brewer Nick Tedeschi, join together for Kettle to Kitchen, a new dinner pairing series showcasing brewing ingredients through food and beer. The kitchen will pull directly from the brewing process, using ingredients like spent grain, hops, malt, yeast, and wort, and process them through fermentation, curing, and reduction in order to create a meal. Seats run $75 per person, which includes food and the pairings, and starts at 6 p.m.  Reservations can be made here.

March 26: Bowl of ‘Zole Returns

Now in its fourth year, Bowl of ‘Zole heads back to Denver’s Skylight (833 Santa Fe Dr.) on Thursday, March 26, from 5 to 9 p.m. Read on for more details here.

March 26: Urban Farmer Denver Tasting Menu Dinner

Chef Jessica Biederman kicks off the first Tasting Menu Dinner of the year, featuring four courses showcasing 7X Beef and Rebel Farm. Each of the dishes come paired with a single-varietal, small-batch cider from Haykin Family Cidery, a Colorado company that showcases the state’s fruits through fermentation. The dinner starts at 6 p.m. for $227 per person, which includes all taxes, fees, and gratuity. Non-alcoholic pairings will also be available. 

March 27: Last Pour Whiskey Party

Raise a glass to spring skiing and International Whiskey Day with après patio party at Stoke & Rye at The Westin Riverfront in Vail. The event goes from 3 to 7 p.m., and includes sets by DJ UNEMPLD and gorgeous views. Sip a curated selection of premium whiskeys and bourbons offered at 40% off, along with handcrafted whiskey cocktail specials. Also dine on elevated food specials including Bison Sliders, no RSVP necessary. 

March 28: Mixology Class at The Brown Palace 

On the last Saturday of each month, the Brown Palace hosts a Sip & Stir, a hands-on mixology class. Each event is led by a professional, and students will learn to craft standout cocktails and/or mocktails. Each ticket comes with two alcoholic beverages, one non-alcoholic beverage, a cheese board, recipe cards to take home, and branded swag from the featured spirit, all for $55 per person. Make sure to reserve early, each session only has 25 seats. You can purchase tickets here.

April 4: Collaboration Fest Brings the Beer

Collaboration Fest is back at The Westin Westminster, hosted by the Colorado Brewers Guild. This year, expect more than 160 craft breweries pouring over 120 exclusive beers brewed just for this event. For example, Odyssey and Second Dawn have crafted an IPA inspired by the classic Painkiller cocktail. We also heard about a pre-Prohibition lager from Glenwood Canyon Brewing and Blacktooth Brewing out of Wyoming, which was created to pay homage to the brewing traditions of the American West.

Now through March 21: St. Paul & The Broken Bones Ticket Raffle at The Peach Crease Club

The Peach Crease Club is giving music lovers a chance to win two VIP tickets to see St. Paul & The Broken Bones at Mission Ballroom on March 26. Now through Saturday, March 21, guests can enter the raffle by purchasing one tinned fish and any Coca-Cola beverage at the bar. Each pairing counts as one entry. 
Coca-Cola options include a classic Peanuts & Coca-Cola, a 1 & 1 (whiskey and Coke), or a simple Coke or Diet Coke. The raffle nods to the band’s new album and its single “Sushi and Coca Cola.” The winner will be announced Sunday, March 22. Reservations available here.

March 6 to April 26: Sakura Bar from Death & Co Denver

Once again Death & Co Denver brings its annual Sakura Bar to The Ramble Hotel. You have almost two months to visit the cherry blossom themed spot in Suite 6A, the upstairs private room overlooking the downstairs bar. Entry is by reservation only, Sunday through Thursday, book here.
