Lankford’s is kicking off Texas barbecue season with a new event pairing slow-smoked brisket and craft beer in a big way. On Saturday, June 6, Lankford’s in the Woodlands will host its inaugural Brisket & Beer Bash, a daylong collaboration with Houston craft beer pioneer Saint Arnold Brewing Company.
Running from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., the event will feature a full Saint Arnold tap takeover, with all 12 taps on Lankford’s self-pour beer wall dedicated to the brewery’s draft lineup. The partnership brings together two longtime Houston favorites—one known for classic burgers and comfort food, the other for helping shape the city’s craft beer scene.
According to the restaurant, the idea grew out of conversations about hosting local brewery takeovers on the beer wall. From there, the team decided to expand the concept into a larger event that would also spotlight Lankford’s barbecue program, which is often overshadowed by its well-known burgers.
Guests who purchase a $50 ticket will receive a barbecue plate featuring a half-pound of house-smoked brisket, smoked sausage, mac and cheese, potato salad, and Southern-style green beans. Traditional barbecue fixings—including bread, pickles, onions, jalapeños, and barbecue sauce—are included, along with a pint of Saint Arnold beer.

Beyond the included pint, guests can purchase additional beer throughout the day from the self-pour beer wall, where selections are priced by the ounce. Lankford’s regular food and drink menus will also remain available during the event, and the restaurant will stay open for standard service, allowing visitors to stop in throughout the day whether or not they purchase tickets.
Rather than a structured tasting event, the Brisket & Beer Bash is intended to function as an all-day indoor-outdoor gathering where guests can come and go, settle in with friends, and enjoy live music alongside their beer and barbecue.
For Lankford’s, the event signals a broader push to expand beyond the restaurant’s burger reputation and lean further into community-driven programming. If successful, the Brisket & Beer Bash could become a recurring addition to the Woodlands’ growing lineup of summer food events—and another reason for Houston-area diners to spend a day in the suburban oasis north of the city.
