A Fantastic Peach Cocktail To Make Right Now

Peaches are all the rage, and at Stranahan’s, head mixologist Devin Ershow has created a tasty peach-based cocktail for 2025. You can try the Colorado distillery’s drink the Denver location. Can’t make it out? Well with this recipe you can get your boozy Palisade peach on right at home.

Stranahan’s is spotlighting this cocktail throughout August and donating 100% of proceeds from sales at its Denver distillery and Aspen Whiskey Lodge to The Greenway Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing and protecting Colorado’s urban waterways. The distillery also sent a request to Governor Polis’s office, asking for the state to recognize August as Peach Whiskey Smash Month.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Stranahan’s Blue Peak
  • 1 oz peach puree
  • 1 oz mint syrup
  • 0.50 lemon juice
  • 2 dashes peach bitters
  • 2 dashes orange bitters

Instructions

  • Add ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake.
  • Strain over fresh ice in a glass.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig and dried peach wheel.
