The 411
Gas Price Discount

Now until April 3, Snooze fans can dine in and get a percentage off the brunch tab, just by mentioning the Gas Price Promo. Those magic words will trigger a discount equal to their state’s average gas price. The nationwide deal has no minimum spending amount, no sign-ups, and no fine print.
Restauranture Pleads Guilty

In July, 2025, restaurant owner Jared Leonard was arrested for fraud. After almost a year in federal prison, he has admitted to fraudulently collecting millions in pandemic relief and using the money to purchase a home in Evergreen.
Leonard operated AJ’s Pit Bar-B-Que (now home to Riot BBQ and run by the restaurant’s former pitmaster), Grabowski’s Pizza, and Campfire Evergreen in Colorado, as well as numerous properties in the Chicago area.
No Ticket, No Problem

Adventure Time Bar no longer requires tickets for entry. Now, anyone can stop in and enjoy owner Sam Wood’s mad scientist concoctions any time they want. Full refunds were issued to current ticket holders. Anyone who has purchased tickets since Adventure Time opened should bring in their punchcard as proof of reservation for a complimentary cocktail.
To celebrate, we are getting an inside look into Adventure Time Bar this Thursday as Wood takes over our Instagram stories. Stay tuned and follow along for the chance to win a gift card to the bar.
Award-Winning Group
Big congrats to Secret Sauce F&B for receiving The Independent Restaurant Coalition and Chase Innovator Award. Secret Sauce runs two beloved Denver restaurants, Steuben’s and Ace Eat Serve, both in Uptown. According to the board, each of the 40 awardees “were carefully selected for advancing replicable, values-driven practices that demonstrate measurable impact and potential to grow.”
Each recipient received a $25,000 grant meant to “strengthen and iterate proven practices in sustainability, workforce well-being and community impact.”
All the Beer and Hot Dogs

Love beer and hot dogs? Take the 9-9-9 Challenge at Coors Field (Field Fanfare, Section 139), which involves consuming nine beers and nine hot dogs during a nine-inning baseball game.
The idea started at the Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia during the 2025 postseason. Now it’s run by Aramark Sports + Entertainment and famous competitive eater Joey Chestnut. While there’s no prize, the set of dogs and beer come in team-branded packaging.
On the Menu
Filipino Breakfast

Adobo in Denver now has a breakfast menu. Order online or in person, and choose from a hefty breakfast burrito menu priced between $4 and $7.50 for classic egg and potato, green chile, pork belly, carnitas, and more. Each comes on a housemade beef-fat tortilla.
Diners can also score plates of breakfast rice with chicken adobo and egg, and Huevos Rancheros. Find silog, or classic Filipino breakfast options too, with soy-cured beef, longanisa, fried eggs, and more.
New Chef’s Counter

When they opened Molino Chido in Aurora, chefs Michael Diaz de Leon and Tommy Lee aimed to create an unpretentious Mexico City–inspired taqueria. Now, the chefs are upping the ante with Más Chido, a five-course tasting menu served at the Molino Chido counter exclusively on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The masa-driven experience starts in the molino room, where house-milled and nixtamalized Colorado-sourced corn is transformed into fresh tortillas. Diaz de Leon then crafts bites paying homage to Mexican ancestral flavors and global influences. Expect the menu to change, but currently you’ll find White Sonoran Momo with curry leaf, potato, tamarind birria, and ginger; Tlayudita with Hokkaido scallop, chorizo, chintextle, preserved lemon, and apple caviar, and more.
Más Chido is $85 per person with the option of adding on a mixed beverage pairing ($55) or zero-proof pairing ($45). Limited reservations are available on Friday and Saturday evenings across three seatings at 4, 6 and 8 p.m.
