After a successful run at The Source in RiNo, the Sandoitchi pop-up has decided to extend its stay. Originally the team planned to close last Saturday, but lucky us, there’s no set end date in sight.

Poulette Bakeshop is moving to a bigger space. Currently the award-winning bakery is closed, but plans to reopen in the new shop on March 11 at 19865 Mainstreet, Unit 130, in Parker.

G-Que BBQ founder Jason Ganahl completed his first cookbook, G-Que Barbeque: A Mile Above the Rest. Known for winning numerous barbecue competitions, Ganahl shares that knowledge through instruction on mastering the “altitude of heat,” professional techniques for the at-home griller, and over 75 recipes.

Camino by Ultreia in Union Station has started delivering sandwiches during regular office hours. Order chef Adam Branz’s excellent Spanish-American sandwiches, as well as items such as the Garbanzo Bowl with mixed greens, chickpeas, egg, tomato, cucumber, pepper, and sherry dressing; and Gazpacho Salad with romaine, jamon serrano, egg, cucumber, tomato, breadcrumbs, goat cheese, and housemade gazpacho vinaigrette. Delivery is available from 10:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

A kitchen fire on March 3 shut down the Los Dos Potrillos in Littleton. It’s the third fire this year that has closed an eatery, the first happened at the newly opened Jax’s Modern Steakhouse and the other at Odyssey Italian Restaurant.

From March 24 to April 22 Toro by Richard Sandoval and Tamayo will showcase a limited-time Bloom to Table menu as part of the annual Viva Abejas campaign. The menu features pollinator-dependent ingredients both in food and drink. Make sure to check out the Viva Abejas cocktail menu at both places, which highlights how pollinators shape the ingredients behind each drink.

At Toro, all honey used for the special menu comes directly from the on-site beehive located on the rooftop of Hotel Clio, the Cherry Creek hotel housing the restaurant. Try dishes such as the Viva Tiradito appetizer, beef tenderloin entree, Abejas Pavlova for dessert, and blue corn masa biscuit with chipotle honey.

This year, the campaign in Denver partners with Kids Connect, a local nonprofit supporting students at Joe Shoemaker, a South Denver elementary school, through academic enrichment and community-based learning. A portion of the proceeds from each cocktail sold will be donated to the World Bee Project as well.
